Digital Portfolios

Seesaw can work on any device. It is a free platform that offers students a personalized experience with sharing their work. The portfolio can be used for assessment, goal setting, reflection, and more. It also promotes a stronger school to home connection as parents can see when their student adds to the portfolio. This is something I use on a regular basis.

Kidblog is a very secure and private online portfolio. This program is more specifically designed a blog for kids, allowing them to have a voice and to reflect on their learning. They can insert pictures, videos, or written documents. Parents can also access their blog with a password.

Three Ring is basically taking your "old-fashioned" 3-ring binder and making it digital, with the ability to share and save. Students can upload their work to their portfolios and can add categories and tags for organization. Students will have their own username and password. This is a tablet or mobile app that can be downloaded for free.

Google Sites is an excellent tool if your classroom already utilizes the google features. It is compatible with youtube, slides, docs, etc. Teachers continue to have full control over the accessibility to the public. Sites lends itself to be excellent at collaboration and sharing.
